Take a break, unwind, relax! Why? Because teacher stress can literally transfer to students. The cortisol levels in student saliva can be correlated to teacher self-reported stress levels. In this short session, I will provide a brief overview of the impact of teacher well-being and social and emotional competence. We will then do a short relaxation and breath practice to regulate your nervous system- one of the most important steps toward social and emotional wellbeing.
